I did notice a great deal of improvement after months of weight training but the lateral knee pain did reoccur despite these improvements so there is still some form of dysfunction going on.

As far as her injury history goes, the stress fracture was likely due to overtraining and perhaps questionable nutrition at the time of the injury.
